Viktor K. Prasanna, also known as V. K. Prasanna Kumar, is an Indian-American computer engineer born on August 10, 1956, in Mysore. He is a professor of electrical engineering and computer science at the University of Southern California (USC). After earning his bachelor's degree in electronics from Bangalore University and a master's degree from the Indian Institute of Science, he completed his Ph.D. at Pennsylvania State University in 1983. Prasanna's research focuses on high-performance computing, parallel computing, and VLSI systems, along with various computational domains.
