Viktor Koretsky was a Russian-Soviet graphic artist born on May 18, 1909, in Kyiv. He gained prominence in 1933 with his poster celebrating international workers' solidarity. During World War II, he created several renowned posters, including the iconic 1942 work 'Soldier of the Red Army, save us.' Over his 50+ year career as a poster artist, Koretsky produced more than 600 posters, many of which gained international recognition.
