Vincent Copeland (1915-1993) was an American actor, labor official, writer, and political activist known for his communist beliefs. He began his career in acting during the 1930s before transitioning to labor activism, becoming a welder and grievance officer at Bethlehem Steel. A member of the Trotskyist Socialist Workers Party, he co-founded the Workers World Party and edited its newspaper. Copeland was active in anti-Vietnam War protests and edited the Community Voice newspaper. He was married to fellow communist Elizabeth Ross and had two step-children. He passed away in 1993.
