Vinod Chandrasinh Chohan (1 May 1949 – 12 June 2017) was a Tanzanian-born engineer and accelerator specialist who contributed extensively to particle physics at CERN for nearly 40 years. He played a key role in the Antiproton Accumulator and was involved in the instrumentation and testing for the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). Working closely with Nobel laureate Simon van der Meer, Chohan's contributions significantly impacted the discovery of fundamental particles, such as the W and Z bosons in 1983.
