Charles Virgil 'Ike' Eikenberg was an American football quarterback born on February 22, 1924, known for playing college football at Rice University and in the NFL for the Chicago Cardinals. He attended Boling High School in Texas and was co-captain of the West team in the 1948 East–West Shrine Game. Eikenberg's professional career began when he signed with the Cardinals in 1948, where he played nine games. Later, he transitioned into coaching and became an assistant principal at Brazosport High School, passing away in Houston on January 30, 1987.
