Visa Nurmi was a Finnish entrepreneur in the advertising industry, cookery author, and food journalist. In the 1980s, he was the CEO of U.S.P. Turku Oy and founded the advertising agency Rientola in 1992. He was known nationwide for his contributions to food writing, being involved with Gourmet magazine and writing columns for Finnish publications. Alongside Chef Antti Vahtera, he authored multiple cookbooks. Nurmi was also passionate about literature and maintained a blog with colleagues in his later years.
