Víctor Rolando Pinto Ruiz, known as Viti Ruiz, is an American salsa singer of Puerto Rican descent born on May 5, 1966, in Paterson, New Jersey. He is the brother of the late salsa singer Frankie Ruiz. Viti started his solo career in the mid-1980s and has participated in various salsa groups, notably playing with Tommy Olivencia's orchestra and as a backing vocalist for Frankie Ruiz. His siblings include Frankie Ruiz, Junito Ruiz, and Nelson Ruiz.
