Vittorio Ghidella (January 19, 1931 – March 15, 2011) was an Italian automotive engineer and manager at Fiat. He studied mechanical engineering at Politecnico di Torino post-World War II and became the managing director of Fiat's automotive division in 1979, appointed by Gianni Agnelli. Ghidella is known as the 'father of the Fiat Uno' and led the launch of several successful models including Fiat Croma and Lancia Delta. His tenure was highly profitable for Fiat, and he also oversaw Alfa Romeo's acquisition before leaving the company in 1988 due to strategic differences.
