Vivek A. Kumar, born on August 8, 1984, is an American scientist, innovator, and entrepreneur. He serves as faculty at the New Jersey Institute of Technology and the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. Previously, he was the Dhiraj Shah Faculty Fellow at NJIT's Albert Dorman Honors College. At NJIT, he leads the KumarLab focused on Biomaterial Drug Discovery, Delivery, and Development. Additionally, Vivek has co-founded several startups in the field.
