Vivian Rivkin (December 24, 1912 - February 1, 1968) was an American pianist known for her remarkable contributions to classical music. She studied under renowned teachers such as Carl Friedberg and Edwin Hughes and debuted in New York in 1941. Rivkin is noted for premiering Norman Dello Joio's Concerto for piano and chamber orchestra. As a chamber musician, she participated in the first overseas performance of Dmitri Shostakovich's Piano Quintet. Despite challenges due to her interracial marriage, especially during the years 1947-1954, she accomplished significant recordings, particularly in Mozart's repertoire.
