Vivien Joan Haddon, now Vivien Boyd, is a former New Zealand swimmer born on August 14, 1945. She gained recognition at the 1962 British Empire and Commonwealth Games, winning a silver medal in the women's 110 yards breaststroke and a bronze in the 220 yards breaststroke. Four years later, she secured another bronze in the 220 yards breaststroke at the 1966 Games. Haddon also competed in the 1964 Summer Olympics, finishing second in her heat for the 200 m breaststroke. She attended Freyberg High School in Palmerston North.
