He earned his Doctor of Biological Sciences degree in 1997 and became a professor in 2002. Davidyants contributed significantly to the field of medicine and was recognized as an honorary doctor by the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences. He passed away on October 29, 2020, in Yerevan, Armenia.
