Wladimir Iossifowitsch Ingal was a Soviet sculptor and professor born in 1901 and died in 1966. He studied at the Higher Artistic and Technical Institute in Leningrad and worked closely with sculptor Weniamin Bogoljubow. Notable for his works, including the Ordschonikidse statue and a composition for the Tajik SSR Pavilion. He became a professor at the Leningrad Muchina College of Arts and was awarded the Stalin Prize. His family included notable artists and scholars, and he was buried in the Bogoslowskoje Cemetery in Leningrad.
