Vladimir Savelievich Ishin, born on December 31, 1931, in Gyumri, is a Soviet engineer-electronic specialist. He graduated from the Yerevan Polytechnic Institute in 1957 and became the chief engineer of the Yerevan Research Institute of Microelectronics in 1973. He was awarded the USSR State Prize in 1971 for his work on the implementation of the family of 'Nairi' electronic computing machines into serial production. His contributions have been significant in the field of microelectronics and computing technology.
