Vladimir Karapetyan is an Armenian psychologist, born on March 7, 1946, in Qrghi, Shamsadin region of the Armenian SSR, USSR. He received his doctorate in psychological sciences in 1999 and became a professor in 2008. In 1989, he was appointed chief psychologist at the Hope Lighthouse Psychological Center. He was elected as a corresponding member of the International Academy of Psychological Sciences due to his work done in Russian, Ukrainian, and other languages from 2007 to 2012.
