Vladimir Logar was a Slovenian businessman and politician born on December 20, 1920, in Cerknica. He graduated from high school in 1940 and was imprisoned by German forces from 1941 to 1944, after which he joined the Koroški detachment. Post-World War II, he worked in the economy, graduating from the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana in 1961. Logar served as secretary of the Yugoslav Assembly's industry committee, director of a radio reception factory, and general director at Iskra in Kranj. He held a significant political role from 1974 to 1978.
