Vladimir Movsisyan was an Armenian politician who played a significant role in Soviet Armenia. He studied at the Higher School of the Central Committee of the Soviet Communist Party. Movsisyan served as the First Secretary of the Communist Party of Armenia in 1990 and was the last official leader of Soviet Armenia. He held various positions, including the Defense Administration of Ijevan, Governor of Gegharkunik, and Minister of Agriculture in Armenia. He was awarded the prestigious Saint Mesrop Mashtots Medal.
