Vladimir Nikolaevich Parfyonov (October 26, 1945 – March 29, 2012) was a Soviet and Russian scientist known for his work in cell morphology and physiology, as well as oogenesis physiology. He served as the director of the Federal Research Centre for Cytology at the Russian Academy of Sciences and was a corresponding member of the Academy. His contributions to the scientific community highlighted the importance of research in cellular processes.
