Vladimir Vasilyevich Zgura was a Soviet art historian and Moscow researcher, born on March 27, 1903, in the Russian Empire. He is recognized as the founder and first chairman of the Society for the Study of the Russian Manor (ОИРУ) from 1922 until his death in 1927. His work contributed to the understanding of Russian cultural heritage, although he passed away at a young age in Feodosia, Crimea, on September 17, 1927.
