Vladimir Zlobin is a Russian firearms designer born on February 7, 1963. He has worked extensively on projects for the FSB of Russia, resulting in several of his designs being adopted by special units. Notable creations include the Vykhlop sniper rifle and the ASH-12 assault rifle. As of January 2014, he was the chief designer at the Kalashnikov Concern and was appointed chief designer for special projects on April 9, 2015. He holds over twenty patents for his inventions.
