Vlado Golob was a Slovenian music publicist, editor, and educator. Born on December 28, 1914, in Kozje, he studied Slavic studies and music history, completing his music studies in 1952. During World War II, he was a member of the Ljubljana Brigade's cultural group. Post-war, he worked as an editor at Radio Ljubljana and as the secretary of the Slovenian Philharmonic. In 1954, he joined a music school in Maribor and contributed music critiques to Večer from 1957. He also composed music for theatrical productions in SNG Maribor.
