Vlado Šegrt (December 18, 1907 - 1991) was a Bosnian-Herzegovinian partisan and national hero known for his bravery during World War II. Initially engaged in farming until 1941, he joined the Communist movement and played a key role in organizing armed resistance after the German occupation. As a commander in various battles, he led successful attacks against Italian forces and Chetniks. After the war, he occupied several significant political positions, including Minister of Agriculture and Vice President of the People's Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and was declared a national hero in 1951.
