Volker Schliebe (1940-2024) was a German physician and politician associated with the National-Democratic Party of Germany (NDPD) in East Germany. He trained in medicine at the Karl Marx University of Leipzig, completing his studies in 1964. After a surgical residency, he worked at various hospitals in Döbeln, eventually becoming deputy director and head of surgery. After the reunification, he served as chief physician in the privatized Döbelner Krankenhaus before retiring in 2005. Schliebe was also a member of the NDPD from 1974 and served in the Volkskammer from 1981 to 1990.
