Born on April 17, 1930, in Kydaniv, now part of the Chortkiv district in the Ternopil region, he earned his doctorate in medical sciences in 1974 and became a professor in 1985. His work significantly contributed to the field of medicine until his passing on May 3, 2019, in Lviv.
