Volodymyr Romanovych Zhukov, born on August 17, 1946, in Makiyivka, Donetsk Oblast, is a former Soviet politician. He served as the First Secretary of the Makiyivka City Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine and as the Chairman of the Makiyivka City Council. He was a deputy in the 11th convocation of the Supreme Soviet of the Ukrainian SSR starting from 1988 and was also a deputy in the first convocation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. Zhukov holds a Ph.D. in Economics, awarded in 2003.
