Walter George Cross (born December 9, 1932) is a notable Canadian politician representing Bonavista North in the Newfoundland and Labrador House of Assembly during two separate terms (1975-1979, 1982-1985). A member of the Progressive Conservative Party, he first won a seat in a by-election following an invalid election result. Although defeated in the 1979 election, he returned to the assembly in 1982 but lost again in 1985. His legacy includes his son Eli, who later represented the same district.
