W. Paul Reeve is an American historian focusing on Mormon race history and Utah history, currently serving as the Simmons Professor of Mormon Studies and History at the University of Utah. Born on July 27, 1968, in Hurricane, Utah, he holds degrees from Brigham Young University and a Ph.D. from the University of Utah. He has received several prestigious awards for teaching and scholarship, including recognition as University Teacher of the Year. Reeve also directs the Century of Black Mormons project, aimed at documenting Black Mormons from 1830 to 1930.
