Waldomiro de Xangô, born Waldomiro Costa Pinto, was a prominent Brazilian religious leader in Candomblé, recognized for his significant contributions to the faith, particularly in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. He was initiated by a well-known babalorixá and established the Ilê Babá Ogum Megegê Axé Baru Lepé in the 1940s. This terreiro is part of the Efon nation and is currently undergoing cultural heritage preservation. After his death, his grandson succeeded him, continuing his legacy in the Candomblé community.
