Born in 1920, she was involved in significant wartime events, including a pivotal ambush. After the war, she was convicted of treason and received a 20-year prison sentence, later pardoned in 1950. Wally married Ragnar Erik Westbye in 1954 and became an accountant in the 1960s. She passed away in 2005 in Oslo, aged 85. Her life story was later documented by her niece in a book published in 2009.
