Walter "Wally" S. Orlinsky was an American politician from Baltimore, Maryland, who served as the president of the Baltimore City Council from 1971 until his resignation in 1982 after being charged with extortion. He was a delegate to the Maryland House of Delegates from 1967 to 1968 and ran unsuccessfully for Governor in 1978. After pleading guilty to extortion due to a bribe in 1982, he served prison time and later received a pardon from President Clinton in 2000. Orlinsky worked various jobs post-prison and died in 2002.
