Walter Orr Scott (born November 8, 1944) is an American writer and poet, known for his public speaking and literary works including 'A Soldier's Story' (2017), 'Arise, Ukraine!' (2014), 'Shevchenko. Poetry to stories' (2018), and 'The Gifts. Book One — Myrrh' (2019). He resides in Zhmerinka, is a member of the literary organization 'Kalynove Hrono' and contributed to the collective almanac 'Charming Well'. He has been part of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine since 2017.
