Warren Robinett is an American video game designer born on December 25, 1951, in Springfield, Missouri. He is best known for developing the game Adventure for the Atari 2600, which was the first graphical adventure game. Robinett is also the founder of The Learning Company, where he created Rocky’s Boots in 1980. Additionally, he developed Slot Racers and a BASIC module for the Atari 2600. Notably, he is credited with inventing the Easter egg in video games, famously hiding the message 'Created by Warren Robinett' within Adventure.
