He has served seven terms as a state deputy in Minas Gerais, initially elected in 1998. Advocating for public safety and drug prevention, he's a member of several councils related to anti-drug and public safety. He holds degrees in Law and Social Communication, and has postgraduate qualifications in Criminality Studies and Public Administration. Rodrigues is currently affiliated with the Liberal Party (PL) after being elected through different parties throughout his political career.
