He co-founded the bands Area Code 615 and Barefoot Jerry, which comprised Nashville session musicians. Moss established the Cinderella Sound recording studio in the early 1960s, which became the oldest surviving independent studio in Nashville by 2011. His contributions have significantly influenced the music scene, making him an important figure in the industry.
