Wayne Thomas Satz (January 10, 1945 – December 24, 1992) was a television reporter known for his coverage of the McMartin preschool trial, which began with his broadcast on KABC-TV in Los Angeles on February 2, 1984. He presented a one-sided perspective on the claims made by the children and their parents. Satz became romantically involved with Kee MacFarlane, a social worker involved in the case, without disclosing this relationship. He passed away from a heart attack at the age of 47 in his home in Studio City, Los Angeles.
