Alhadji Waziri Kolo Ibrahim was a notable Kanuri businessman and politician from Borno State, Nigeria. Born on February 26, 1926, he played a significant role in the Nigerian Second Republic as a founding member of the Nigerian People's Party. In 1978, he established the Great Nigeria People's Party (GNPP) after leaving his original party. Ibrahim made a mark in Nigerian politics by securing nearly 10% of the national vote in the 1979 presidential elections as the GNPP candidate.
