Datuk Seri Ir. Dr. Wee Ka Siong is a Malaysian politician and engineer born on October 20, 1968. He has been the Member of Parliament for Ayer Hitam since March 2004. Serving multiple terms as Minister of Transport under different administrations, he held office from August 2021 to November 2022 and previously from March 2020 to August 2021. A member of the Malaysian Chinese Association, he became its 11th President in November 2018. He previously served as Deputy Minister of Education and was the sole Chinese minister in the recent administrations.
