Wei Jianhua is a retired female javelin thrower from China, born on March 23, 1979. Her personal best throw of 63.92 meters was an Asian record until 2012. She won multiple medals, including bronze at the 1998 World Junior Championships, the 2001 East Asian Games, and the 2001 Summer Universiade. Wei competed in the 2000 Summer Olympics and the World Championships in 1999 and 2001. After a shoulder injury in 2002 ended her athletic career, she later returned to coaching in 2012.
