Vera Schäferkordt was a German swimmer and Olympian born on December 9, 1924, in Düsseldorf. She competed for Düsseldorfer SC 1898. Schäferkordt won the German Championship in the 400 m freestyle in both 1942 and 1943. She participated in the 1952 Helsinki Olympics, swimming in the 100 m freestyle where she did not advance to the top 16 but reached the final as part of the 4 × 100 m freestyle relay team, finishing seventh with a time of 4:40.3 minutes.
