Wesley Earl Short Jr. is an American professional golfer, born on December 4, 1963, in Austin, Texas. He turned professional in 1987 and became a touring pro in 1997 after working as a club pro. Short gained PGA Tour membership in 2004 and won the Michelin Championship in 2005. He faced health issues that affected his career but returned to the PGA Tour in 2013. He later found success on the Champions Tour, winning multiple events and qualifying for the U.S. Open in 2016. He continues to be an active golfer in various tours.
