Wesley Ngetich Kimutai was a Kenyan marathon runner born on December 15, 1977. He was known for winning the Grandma’s Marathon in Duluth in both 2005 and 2007. In 2006, he achieved his personal best time of 2:12:06 hours when he finished second at the Houston Marathon. Tragically, he was killed by a poisoned arrow during the violent unrest in Kenya in early 2008. He was married and had three children.
