Collyn 'Whitly' Loper is an American sport shooter born on December 31, 1986, in Jackson, Mississippi. A member of the U.S. national team since age fourteen, she achieved a significant milestone by winning a gold medal in trap shooting at the 2003 Pan American Games. Loper also competed in the 2004 Summer Olympics, finishing fourth in women's trap shooting. Despite being born blind in one eye, she successfully adapted her shooting technique. Additionally, Loper was recognized as the youngest member of the U.S. team during the Athens Olympics, showcasing her talent and determination in the sport.
