Willi August Kesting was a German secret policeman who was convicted and executed for war crimes in Norway after World War II. A trained carpenter, he joined the SA in May 1932 and became a member of the German secret police when Hitler came to power in 1933. He served in Norway as a senior assistant at the Sicherheitsdienst in Bergen from 1941 and led a department by October 1944. He was sentenced to death for war crimes including torture and murder on March 18, 1946, and was executed on August 8, 1946.
