William Hanna Shomali, born on May 15, 1950, in Beit Sahour, West Bank, is an auxiliary bishop in the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem. He was ordained a priest on June 24, 1972, and served for eight years in Jordan's parishes. He later became a professor and subsequently the head of the Latin Patriarchate Seminary in Beit Jala, and eventually took on the role of general director.
