William Kabogo Gitau is a Kenyan politician who served as the first Governor of Kiambu County from 2013 to 2017 and was previously a Member of Parliament for Juja Constituency from 2010 to 2013. He won the governorship during the March 2013 elections but lost the Jubilee ticket in 2017 to Ferdinand Waititu and made an unsuccessful independent run thereafter. Known for his association with health care initiatives in Kiambu County, he was initially part of The National Alliance before transitioning away from the Jubilee Party.
