Winston W. "Bud" Gardner Jr. is an American politician who played a significant role in Florida's political scene. Born on October 27, 1938, in Montgomery, Alabama, he relocated to Florida in 1965. Gardner served on the Brevard County School Board from 1973 to 1978 and was a member of the Florida House of Representatives from 1978 to 1988, representing districts 31 and 45. He then served in the Florida Senate from 1988 to 1992 for District 17. He is affiliated with the Democratic Party.
