Wolfram Luther is a German professor specializing in computer graphics, image processing, and scientific computing at the University of Duisburg-Essen. He earned his PhD in mathematics from the University of Marburg in 1973 and habilitated at RWTH Aachen in 1980. After various academic roles and visiting professorships, he became a professor at Duisburg University in 1993. Luther has chaired the examination committee for the Applied Computer Science program since 2000 and has held visiting professorships at the University of Chile in 2004 and 2010.
