Wujue Miaotian, born Huang Mingliang on May 5, 1934, is a Zen master from Chaozhou Township, Pingtung County, Taiwan. He graduated from the National Defense Management College and conducted research at National Chung Hsing University’s Political Research Institute. After retiring from military service, he converted to Buddhism under Master Jingzai, the 84th generation lay disciple of the Linji school of Zen Buddhism, who granted him the 'Dharma transmission.'
