Xabier Kalparsoro Golmaio, also known as 'Txato' and by the nom de guerre 'Anuk', was a Basque political activist and member of the armed organization Euskadi Ta Askatasuna (ETA). Born on December 7, 1966, in Zumaia and died on September 26, 1993, in Bilbao. He was arrested by the police on September 24, 1993, and officially died two days later after falling from a window at the police station. There are claims suggesting he was detained earlier, drugged, and used as a pretext to orchestrate a large operation against ETA leading to his death.
