Xabier Sanchez Erauskin is a journalist from Gasteiz, born on March 7, 1935. He worked at the waters of Ternua for several years before completing his journalism studies. He contributed to various publications such as Posible, Cuadernos para el diálogo, and Egin, and served as the director of the magazine Punto y Hora. An active participant in the national table of HB, he also worked with Elkarri and Herria 2000 associations. In his final years before retirement, he taught at the University of the Basque Country. In April 1983, he received an 18-month prison sentence for articles published in Punto y Hora.
